Just picked this up from Target for since they weren't available on Amazon. This vacuum works extremely well. I can actually feel significant suction even when using the wide floor attachment. The dirt container is easy to remove and clean. The built-in crevice tool is well designed and works very well. The accessory stick attaches securely and in conjunction with the wide floor nozzle, enables quick cleaning of large areas. In summary, an excellent handy vac especially considering the price!

It's a good stick vacuum but it keeps coming apart. Had to call on the handy duct tape.

I got this as a Valenine's Day gift from my husband. I know it's strange, but it's what I wanted and asked for. Anyway, I loved this at first. It was great! Light, easy to handle, had good enough suction to clean up cheerios and little messes around the house without having to drag out the big heavy vacuum. Although my happiness with it was short-lived. Within 6 weeks or so the plastic pegs that hold the crevice tool on and allow it to rotate from storage to use broke. First one, then days later the other leaving the crevice tool completely unusable. It will not stay up in the storage position without them, and falls out of the hole when in use. Also, since it's no longer in the storage position, when I attach the floor piece, there is a gap which causes it to have almost no suction at all. I cannot even pick up paper with it anymore. So in less than 6 months it's useless. I am really not happy that we spent + for this including the shipping and tax and now it's just collecting dust and I still have to drag out the big vacuum. Save your money and buy something else.
Edited - I have contacted customer care to find out how they can help get my nearly new vacuum working again. They sent me a form letter email and told me to travel over an hour away to have it serviced. Clearly this is not a viable option, and as a result, I will never buy Dirt Devil again!

I bought this vacuum in November. It worked great at first, but now 4 months later, it barely has enough suction to pick up anything and the battery dies after 2-5 minutes. Not sure if I have a dud. But it is not working for me.

I bought this because I was tired of sweeping up the dirt and grass tracked in from my two dogs. It's lightweight and very easy to use. I love that you can easily use it as a hand held vacuum too. I use it to clean up crumbs from under the couch cushions. I've had it for about a month now and it still works great. It will run about 15 minutes on a full charge. It's a great hardwood floor vacuum--don't buy this expecting to use on any type of carpet.
